Changes to the Restaurant Voucher program
We have made some improvements to our Restaurant Voucher program to make it easier for you. Starting October 1st, we will implement the following changes:
1. We are removing the 10% commission paid to Neighborly.
Running a restaurant is no easy task, and after speaking to many of you, we understand how tight your margins can be due to fluctuating food costs. We have removed our commission to ensure you continue seeing value and profit from this program.
2. We are parting ways with Factor4.
We have received your feedback about Factor4 needing to be easier to use, and we agree. Therefore, starting October 1st, Neighborly will handle the redemption process internally. You need to collect the redeemed vouchers and either drop them off or ship them to us at the end of each month. Once we receive the returned vouchers, we will process them and pay you directly to your account via ACH payment.
3. We are increasing The Coffee & Pastry voucher price to $10.00.
We are raising the price of the Coffee & Pastry Voucher from $7.50 to $10.00 due to increasing food costs. This change will help our coffee partners to maintain a high-quality customer experience while remaining profitable. Starting October 1st, all non-expired vouchers redeemed will paid out at the $10.00 rate. Offers do not need to be modified to accommodate this price change. If you would like to update your offer, please contact us.
4. We are launching 'A Night Out' voucher card valued at $50.00.
Thanks to the numerous requests for a higher-value restaurant voucher that couples or families can enjoy, we are introducing the 'A Night Out' dinner voucher. This voucher allows you to savor local cuisine in the company of others.
5.We can accommodate expanded offers.
We have improved our Restaurant Voucher pages to enhance the experience of finding a restaurant offer. We now can accommodate expanded offers. If you want to update your offer, please contact us, and we can update it on our website. The updated website design will be live on October 1st.
6. We are redesigning the voucher card experience.
We have redesigned the cards to be printed on recycled material to promote sustainability. The new card design still allows the redemption of original plastic cards until their expiration date.
7. We are providing monthly reporting.
We are excited to launch a monthly newsletter for participating restaurants. The newsletter will include total voucher sales, total redeemed vouchers, and the number redeemed at your establishment.
8. We are expanding our sales opportunities.
The Neighborly Restaurant Voucher program has been a success for gift givers, recipients, and corporations with private gift stores. This fall, our team is making the sales channel accessible to the general public, allowing anyone to gift the local eating experience easily.
