Peace Coffee
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Peace Coffee began as a non-profit supporting farmers and now produces exceptional coffee while maintaining fair practices throughout its supply chain. Its partners are farmers who have faced extraordinary hardship, including displacement by the Shining Path in Peru and the loss of family members in civil conflict, and who continued to farm. Peace Coffee holds to three commitments: uphold standards of taste, quality and equity; treat colleagues and partners with respect and care; and tell a story about the world grounded in possibility rather than fear.
