For more than 30 years, The Pearl has made La Crosse a little sweeter. Founded by TJ and Michelle Peterslie and run today by their daughters, Dani Peterslie and Azia Thelemann, this family-owned shop churns its ice cream in house with Wisconsin milk and bakes waffle cones fresh daily. Behind the counter, small-batch chocolates, truffles, turtles and caramels are made with real butter and cream. Named a Best of La Crosse County winner for its ice cream and old-fashioned candy, The Pearl is a downtown La Crosse institution.
